We’ve been informed that Money Heist Season 5, which will be the final season of this incredibly popular Netflix show, will be landing in September 2021.
Here’s what our source told us about the show’s release date:
Part 5 is still shooting at the moment, but we’re close to the end. We’re working towards a September release.
We then asked for a more concrete date, and our source added:
I can’t give you a solid date. There isn’t one at the moment. It’ll depend on how long we take in post. But we’re aiming for a mid-September release. I’m pretty certain we’ll get it finished on time.

Creator and Executive Producer Alex Pina previously stated:
We’ve spent almost a year thinking about how to break up the band. How to put the Professor on the ropes. How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters. The result is the fifth part of La Casa de Papel. The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season.
The final outing will feature 10 episodes and filming on Season 5 started back in August 2020.
It seems as though they are still filming reshoots for the final season.
This was teased by one of the show’s stars, Alvaro Morte who shared a behind the scenes picture on his Instagram account.
Filming for Money Heist Season 5 is taking place in Denmark, Spain and Portugal.
